Los modelos asistenciales actuales ponen de manifiesto la necesidad de que todos los profesionales sanitarios, sea cual sea su especialidad, intervengan de forma integrada en beneficio del paciente. Este libro, cuyo objetivo es ser el punto de partida para que los fisioterapeutas entiendan la influencia de los fármacos en su práctica profesional, destaca por las siguientes características: Sienta las bases generales de la Farmacología y describe los diferentes grupos farmacológicos estructurados por órganos o sistemas sobre los que actúan. Explica de forma detallada la problemática existente y la interacción entre las terapias de rehabilitación y farmacología.
